With the early 90's cult hit The Flash about to make its return on The CW network, one must look back to the original series and the original Flash.

 

John Wesley Shipp first made his mark on the CBS soap Guiding Light, where he played Dr. Kelly Nelson for four years before moving on to greener pastures. Memorable stints on hits like One Life To Live and Dawson's Creek established him as an A-List star and his turn in The Flash gave him the distinction of bringing a superhero to life.

 

John is a fan favorite for sure, and the fact that he is also a beautiful male just sweetens the package.
